Wiki Settings

User Management

Add New User

Leave empty to keep current password
Users with these groups can access restricted sections.

Define path-based access rules for sections of your wiki, then assign users to groups in the Users tab. Rules are evaluated in order. First match wins.

Active Rules

Import markdown files from a ZIP archive. Files will be processed and stored in the appropriate document structure. Directory structure in the ZIP (category/subcategory) will be preserved in the wiki.

Upload a ZIP file containing markdown (.md) files to import.

Create and manage backups of your wiki data. Backups include all documents, images, and configuration files.

Viewing Extras

  1. Navigate to the Extras section on any detail page
  2. Use the Jump to… menu to hop between categories when an item has a lot of bonus content
  3. Select any extra to start playback

Extras stored in your library play in Neptune's player like any other video.

Trailers

The Trailer button in the action pill plays the best available trailer:

  1. Local trailer files. When your media library exposes trailer files as special features (for example, MovieName/Trailers/Official Trailer.mp4 on Jellyfin), they play right in Neptune.
  2. YouTube. When there's no local trailer, Neptune finds the official trailer through your server's metadata or TMDB and opens it in the YouTube app.

When an item has several trailers, a Choose Trailer picker lists the local ones alongside a Watch on YouTube option.

The button only appears when at least one source is likely to yield a trailer.

Collections

When a movie belongs to a collection (e.g., "The Lord of the Rings"):

  1. Scroll to the Part of Collection section
  2. Select the collection
  3. Browse all movies in the collection

Similar Items

The More Like This section shows related content based on shared genres, themes, and people.
