Account Picture & Clock

On Apple TV, your account picture and the time sit in the top-right corner, in the same spot as the clock on the Apple TV Home Screen.
You can always see who's signed in and what time it is, without leaving what you're browsing.

Where It Shows

The pill sits at the end of the navigation bar on every tab and in Settings, and on item detail pages.
It never takes focus, so moving around the bar works exactly as before.

Each time you open Neptune or come back to it, the pill starts as just your picture and slides open to show the time.

Turning It On or Off

Go to Settings > Appearance > Layouts > Home:

Setting What it does
Show Account Picture Shows your account picture in the top-right corner
Show Clock Shows the time in the top-right corner

Turn off both and the corner stays empty.
Both settings follow your account, so they sync with Backup & Restore.

Time Format

The clock uses your Apple TV's region and its 24-Hour Time setting.

With the Navigation Bar

The pill works with each Navigation Bar Scroll Behavior option in Settings > Home:

Option What happens
Hide The navigation bar hides while you browse, and the pill stays put
Collapse The navigation bar shrinks into the pill, showing your current tab next to the time and your picture

The picture is the same one used everywhere else in Neptune.
See Account Pictures to change it.

iPhone and iPad

Neptune on iPhone and iPad shows your account picture in Settings, the account switcher, and Who's watching?.
There's no clock in the corner on iPhone or iPad.

To change your picture, tap your account card at the top of Settings, tap your own account to open its page, and choose Change Photo, then pick a photo.
Neptune crops it to a square and saves it on your server.
Choose Remove Photo to go back to your initial.

If your server doesn't let your account change its picture, Neptune says so and keeps the current one.
