Episode Finder

Describe a scene, quote, joke, event, or half-remembered plot point and Neptune finds the episode in your library. Episode Finder is built for the moment when you know exactly what happened but cannot remember the title, season, or episode number.

It works with any configured language-model provider. Neptune AI provides the zero-setup hosted experience with Neptune Pro.

How to Use It

  1. Open a TV series.
  2. Select Find Episode in the action pill.
  3. Describe anything you remember.
  4. Wait while Neptune searches, asks AI when needed, and verifies the answer.
  5. Select a playable result.

You can describe a scene naturally or enter a direct reference:

Description Likely Result
CPR training goes wrong The Office - “Stress Relief”
the one with the turkey on his head Friends - “The One with All the Thanksgivings”
Home starts a biker gang The Simpsons - "Take My Wife, Sleaze”
The lads go to America and James drives an old Cadillac Top Gear - USA Special

Result Labels

Label Meaning
In your library Verified, playable, high-confidence match
Likely Verified library episode with good confidence
Maybe Verified candidate with weaker evidence
Corrected match The episode was found under different library numbering
Not in library The episode is known, but Neptune cannot play it from your server
Best guess A possible answer that could not be fully verified

Neptune can show up to four candidates. Focus a card to see its season, episode, title, overview, and confidence status.
